HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO ME!

Hey ya'll -- today (March 5th) is my birthday! I's doing FINE on CLOUD NINE!
It's inevitable to use one's birthday to look back on the last year (or couple) and analyze your life. And, I must tell you: I wouldn't change a thing! I'm grateful for every lesson and experience. And, most importantly -- NO REGRETS!!!!! Hence, I'm looking forward to continuing this walk with God and loved ones.
I've got HUGE news on the movie front, but am not yet at liberty to say. But, soon.......
As for email replies -- let's not even go there!

I'm on top of the mountain looking over the edge!..........

Hey ya'll! How is everyone? I hope you're all doing well and had a great and safe New Year.
I hope you've had a chance to check out my public performance debut. If not, go to the "Media" page and watch the "salsa" video. Also, be sure to check out the "shout outs" video where you can see friends and loved ones joining me in celebrating 20 years clean and sober.
THEN, if you still haven't gotten enough "Cup," be sure to check out the two new photo albums recently posted that contain tons of pictures from that auspicious occasion. Between the shout-outs and pictures, you'll be able to see most of the friends and loved ones in my innermost circle -- all of whom played a special role in my life over these past 20 years.
THEN, if you've still got free time, be sure to check out my childhood video (where you can see my beautiful mom -- ALIVE, daddy and Larry), as well as the other photo albums which contain pics of my circle of life.
The script is coming along great and will be completed very soon. I already have several producers very interested in the movie. More on that later.
As for email replies, I am now FOUR YEARS BEHIND!!! Honestly, ya'll, I don't know if I'll keep trying to reply. But, before I definitely decide to give up, I'll give you a head's up.
Meanwhile, love yourself! If not, make it a priority to do so since it's required before you can love others. Remember: you can't give away something you ain't got! Besides, God don't make no junk! (The very last paragraph of this blog says it all!)

Hey ya'll. Merry Christmas! Happy Hannukah! Happy Kwanza!
I hope everyone is having a jolly GOD time! :>) Me, myself, I's chillin, livin, laughin and luvin!
The videos from my Roaring 20's party are now up. For those of you unaware, this past October, I celebrated TWENTY (20) YEARS clean and sober with a Roaring 20's costume party. In honor of my celebration, 95% of the guests came in Roaring 20's attire (including the men). Chile, we was SHARP! And, we had a great time. During that party, I made my public debut dance performance with a salsa routine performed with (and choreographed by) my personal instructor, Jesus. Also during the party, guests were able to give me "shout-outs" and love messages. So, if you go to the Media page of my website you can view the performance video and the shout-outs video. We also took tons of pictures at the party. Those will be up next week. So be sure to check back, kay?
Now, as for emails. Here the deal: I'S BEHIND!!!! Surprised? I'm gon work on replies during the holidays in between script writing sessions. Speaking of script, it's coming along quite well!
Okay, I gotta get ready for Christmas Eve services at my church. I'm gon praise God for what He's already done and for what He's going to do; for what He's given me AND for what He's taken away.

Sad and grateful....

Brenda (Kearney) Lewis, a dear, dear friend of mine has passed away. She was young, beautiful, loving and so very kind. She died with almost 22 years of sobriety. I'm heading out of town for the funeral.
Needless to say, I haven't had a chance to answer emails. More update on that later.
I miss Brenda terribly. Yet, as strange as it sounds, I'm also grateful because her death -- as death so often does -- reminds me of just how blessed I am. It helps me realize that all of this shit we go through -- IT'S JUST SHIT! I mean, hell, if you're alive -- you got action! Your dreams can still come true! Your goals can still be reached! BUT, because they're YOURS -- YOU GOTTA DO THE WORK!!!!!
I'll check in again next week.

This weekend, I'm having a Roaring 20's costume party in honor of my 20 years. I've got friends and family coming in from all over. And, as I've told you in previous blogs, my private instructor, Jesus, and I will be making my salsa performance debut at the party. Meanwhile, recovery -- and life -- goes on!

I just got back into the Country. Of course, I heard the news while in France, but it really hit home now that I'm home.
